Through our successful, longstanding partnership with Alternative Schools Network (ASN), we provide in-school and after-school, semester-long video production programs to former dropout youth at alternative high schools throughout Chicago. In CTVN’s school programs, students learn every aspect of the production process, from brainstorming and story boarding an idea, to painstakingly editing each clip to perfection. As part of our social justice based curriculum, students use critical thinking skills to develop their own perspective on community issues that they express through media.
